Import from CSV
BurnSim 4 imports test data from CSV and other delimited text files (.csv, .txt, .tsv, .dat) with Import File... on the Test Data tab, and from columns copied out of a spreadsheet with Import Clipboard.
Since 4.0.0.24 there is no required format. Either import opens a dialog where you say what each column is - time, pressure, thrust, fire marker or unused - and what units it is in, or which saved sensor turns its raw volts into a reading. Column headers such as Pressure (psi) are read to fill the dialog in for you. The full description is in The import dialog.
The old format still imports unchanged: a file with no header is read as
Time, Pressure, Thrust
with time in seconds, pressure in psi (gauge) and thrust in lbf. Thrust is optional. For example, time and pressure only:
0,0.00 0.008,7.40 0.017,12.34 0.025,22.20 0.033,32.07 0.042,46.88 ...
A thrust-only file imports too - give the dialog a thrust column and no pressure column.
For DATAQ recordings, import the .wdh or .wdq file directly rather than converting it to CSV first: see Test Data Tab.
